Archen is a dual-type Rock/Flying fossil Pokémon. Archen is a small, bipedal creature with mixed reptilian and avian traits. Its large, red head is covered in discernible scales, and its neck has blue and red feathers. Its body is covered in untidy, sallow feathers, with blue, clawed wings that cannot be used for flight. It has short, thin legs, and a thin, twig-like tail that bears a diamond-shaped blue feather. It has wide white eyes with black pupils and no irises. It is believed to be the ancestor of all bird Pokémon.

Ducklett are light blue, gosling-like Pokémon. They have two feathery tufts on their head connected at the bottom, forming a ‘v’ shape. It has a darker-blue, feathery underside which makes it appear as if it were in mid-moult. It has yellow, webbed feet and a small tail.

Rufflet is a dual-type Normal/Flying Pokémon. Rufflet is an avian Pokémon that resembles an eaglet. His head has a thick covering of fuzzy white down and a grayish-blue face. A single red and white plume, which resembles an honor feather, extends from his forehead. Rufflet’s body and wings are the same shade of blue as his face, and both seem rather miniature compared to the size of his head. He has large yellow feet tipped with black talons, and his beak is also yellow. Rufflet’s tail is squared-off at the tip and his coloration matches his downy head.
